MILFORD, Iowa - North Union senior standout Allie Ingalls combined her potent bat with her strike-hurling right arm to power the Iowa Class 2A, No. 3-ranked Warriors to a 10-3 nonconference softball triumph over the Okoboji Pioneers on Tuesday night in Milford, Iowa.

Ingalls recorded nine strikeouts, issued three bases-on-balls and allowed three earned runs on six hits in seven innings of work inside the chalked circle to earn the complete-game victory.

Ingalls also served as the green-and-white batting order's offensive catalyst, smacking a leadoff triple during the top of the first inning.

Ingalls, who went 4-for-4 from the batter's box, followed with a two-run round-tripper during the Warriors' half of the fifth frame. The senior leadoff hitter also crossed the plate three times on the night.

Autumn Boland continued her hot-hitting ways for North Union by going 3-for-5, including a double during the top of the fourth inning. Boland produced a team-leading three RBIs and scored once.

Taylor Mathine generated a 4-for-4 performance at the plate for the Warriors. The fleet-footed No. 9 batter drove in a pair of runs and crossed the plate three times.

Collete Haag and Dena Looft each supplied two hits in four official at-bats for the visitors, while Sarah Rolling and Sara Johnson each contributed one hit. Johnson scored a pair of runs, while Rolling tallied one run.

The Warriors' Cheyanne Boland produced two RBIs on a pair of sacrifices on the contest.

The Warriors built a 7-0 lead through 3 1/2 innings before plating three more in the fifth.

North Union (13-0) travels to Spencer, Iowa, on Thursday for another 5:30 p.m. non-league game.
