FAIRMONT - Megan Rosol hit the Rose Lake Golf Course's greens with such regularity on Monday that she used her Wildfire Golf Club ball marker quite a bit.
Rosol produced a meet-best five pars and needed only 18 putts to earn medalist honors with a nine-hole round of 43 to pace Fairmont's sweep of a South Central Conference double dual in Fairmont.
The hometown Cardinals fired a triangular-winning total of 191, the St. James Saints claimed second with a 219, while the New Ulm Eagles followed with a 235.

"As odd as it sounds, today was the first time that the girls had to go out and play in the wind,"Fairmont mentor Ron Kallheim said in reference to a steady 25 mph breeze. "For the conditions, I was happy with the way we shot."
Rosol connected for pars on Nos. 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9 to highlight her first-place round, while teammates Lizzie Larson, Emily Kim and Elizabeth Kim completed the Cardinals' counting marks.
Larson made par on two of her last three holes - Nos. 7 and 9 - to generate a 47, Emily Kim sank par putts on Nos. 3 and 9 to pace a 48, while Elizabeth Kim turned in a 53. Larson used 19 putts, while Emily Kim and Elizabeth Kim tallied 21 and 22, respectively.
Cassidy Krusemark carded a 61 for Fairmont, while Alyssa Westcott made par on the par-3 No. 7 hole to pace a 71. Westcott utilized a team-low 16 putts, while Krusemark needed 23 attempts with her putter.
Corinne McKeeth fired a 46 to finish second overall in topping New Ulm's effort, while Emily Bertrang, who was a last-minute replacement for an injured teammate, produced a 61.
Tasha Holm (63) and Julia Schaefer (65) rounded out the Eagles' counting marks, while Taylor Syverson and Emily Hartmann chipped in a 66 and an 80, respectively.
Lyndsey Haler and Bethany Carlson each carded 52s to pace the Saints' consistent performance, while Julia Boeve (57) and Sophie Lepp (58) capped the counting totals. Jovanna Boeve and Lil Krause added a 60 and a 65, respectively.
Fairmont (24-2, 3-0 SCC) plays host to St. Peter and Waseca at 3:45 p.m. today in another double dual meet at Interlaken Golf Course in Fairmont.
