ST. JAMES - Services for Norman M. Romsdahl, 86, of rural St. James, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Odin. Burial will be in the Kansas Lake Lutheran Cemetery in rural Butterfield.

Romsdahl died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Truman Senior Living in Truman. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Kramer Family Funeral Home, Trimont, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

Norman Matthew Romsdahl was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Long Lake Township, Watonwan County, son of Karl and Hulda (Eckstrom) Romsdahl. Norman served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He is survived by his wife Peggy of Truman; daughters, Dorothy Wolle of Madelia, Patricia Norell of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Joyce Bolte of Butterfield; son, Keith Romsdahl of St. James; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
