ROSEVILLE - Services for William L. "Bill" Tesdahl, 41, of Roseville, Minn., formerly of Fairmont, will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 29, at United Methodist Church in Fairmont. Burial will be 4:30 p.m. Monday at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont, with full military honors by Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and Martin County VFW Post 1222.

Bill passed away Wednesday morning, April 24, 2013, at his home in Roseville. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and will continue for one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.

William Lauren Tesdahl was born Oct. 21, 1971, in Fairmont, Minn., the son of Lauren and Judy (Rouse) Tesdahl. Bill grew up in Fairmont and during high school he wrestled and played football. He graduated from Fairmont High School in 1990. After high school, he went on to Worthington Community College, where he played football. On March 22, 1993, he enlisted with the U.S. Marines. While serving in the Marine Corps, he wrestled in several different countries. He was honorably discharged in March 1997 and became a fitness instructor and worked in Yankton, S.D., Mankato, Owatonna, and then the metro area. He was currently the manager of the Executive Lounge in Minneapolis and lived in Roseville.

Those who will cherish his memory include his parents, Lauren and Judy Tesdahl of Fairmont; three brothers, Bob Tesdahl and his wife Lori of Ceylon, Larry Tesdahl of Mankato, and Lee Tesdahl and his wife Laura of Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Dawn Lillevold and her husband, Paul, of Trimont; nieces and nephews, Joshua, Matthew, Courtney, Cameron, Cecilia and Adam; great nephew, Hadyn; aunts and uncles, Randy and Kim Rouse, Cliff and Darlene Tesdahl, Linda Miller, Lonny and Cara Tesdahl, Gloria Tesdahl; cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his grandparents, Bill was preceded in death by one brother, Lonny Allen Tesdahl; six uncles, Garry Tesdahl, Wally, Ron and Rob Rouse, Jim Zilka and Allen Miller.
