To the Editor:
A few years ago, a group of people from our church and the community decided to find a way to be a blessing to others. Because of our faith and love for Christ, it was decided to offer a free community Christmas dinner for those who, for a variety of reasons, didn't have plans.
We have been privileged to serve hundreds of folks and have received lots of help and resources from area and community volunteers.
We are again offering a free Christmas dinner to anyone who would join us for a traditional dinner of turkey, ham and trimmings. We will begin serving at noon in our fellowship hall 625 Johnson St. in Fairmont. You can call our church office (507) 238-1939 for more information.
