To Winnebago residents and elected officials: As Winnebago looks for a new city administrator, it should try to find someone ready to commit to the position for a long period of time. Winnebago has a hard time keeping people in this position for the long haul and wastes plenty of time going though this process over and over.
Chris Ziegler, a City Council member who just resigned, is a longtime member of our community and has the best knowledge of current matters and is well qualified to fill this important position. We need someone who treats this job as a career and not a good resume entry. Contact your council members and tell them we need Chris.
