FARIBAULT - Memorial service for Timothy Nuss, 45, of Faribault, formerly of Fairmont, will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Visitation with the family will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the Lakeview Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Faribault on Friday, October 26, 2012, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Craig Breimhorst officiating. Interment will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault. Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Thursday, October 25, from 5-7 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Tim Nuss, age 45, of Claremont, died on Monday, October 22, 2012, at his home.

Timothy Elroy, the son of Elroy and Sandra (Litchy) Nuss, was born April 27, 1967, in Colorado Springs, Colo. As a senior in high school he earned his private pilot's license. He was nominated to the Naval Academy in 1985, but had a terrible car accident prior to graduation. He again re-qualified to enter the Naval Academy, but was rejected due to the metal in his body from the accident. Tim graduated from Mankato State University with a B.S. in finance and construction management. He spent his entire career at Ford Metro Glass, Rochester where he excelled and won trips to Austria and various other trips throughout the U.S.for his performance in the industry. Tim married Dawn Sanders on January 18, 1997, in Colorado. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn of Claremont; three children, Brett Byers (and special friend, Michelle Korsten) of Rochester, Shawnna (and Sean) Flowers of Rochester and Todd Nuss of Claremont; two grandchildren, Serenity and Addison; his parents, Elroy and Sandra Nuss of Fairmont; and a brother, Scott (and Lori) Nuss and their children, Taylor and Tony of Fairmont.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Florence Litchy, and Ernest and Minnie Nuss; uncle, Kenneth Nuss and brother-in-law, Todd Sanders.
