To the Editor:
Regret ... a bitter pill to swallow, yet we've all tasted it. We regret leaving town without filling the gas tank. We regret that we didn't mow the lawn before the rain came. We regret we didn't update our insurance policy, or tuck away a little more money for retirement. We regret even more that we didn't spend enough time with our children, or elderly parents. Regret is the result of a bad decision.
We have a decision to make on Nov. 6th. The consequences of this decision will greatly affect those in the school community. But it will also affect those in the retail, commercial, and health service communities. I can't think of a strong community that doesn't have a strong school. They go hand in hand.
This is not about WHO is right. This is about WHAT is right. Let's have no regrets. Vote yes.
