JACKSON - The Class 2A, No. 6 ranked Jackson County Central Huskies volleyball team defeated the Blue Earth Area Bucs, 25-16, 25-15, 25-23, on Monday night in Jackson.
Blue Earth Area's Krista Hassing tallied nine kills, nine digs and two blocks in the match.
Janessa Jahnke added eight kills, a team-best 16 digs and three blocks for the Bucs.
Monica Krieger doled out 17 set assists, and went a perfect 13-for-13 from the service line, recording seven points.
Megan Wirtjes and Whitney Pirsig each made five digs for Blue Earth Area.
Audrey McDonald was a perfect 7 of 7 serving, with one ace serve, and scored three points for the Bucs.
Blue Earth Area (15-6) travels to New Ulm for a 7:30 p.m. South Central Conference match on Thursday.
