SHERBURN - A Celebration of Life Service for Beulah M. Weber, 92, of Fairmont, Minn., formerly of the Sherburn area will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center Chapel in Fairmont, Minn., with Pastor Bruce Koskovich officiating. Burial will be in the Sherburn Cemetery in Sherburn, Minn.
Beulah was called to her eternal rest on Thursday morning, Aug. 30, 2012, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont, Minn. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral services in the Chapel of Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont.

Beulah M. Freitag was born Jan. 14, 1920, daughter of Theodore and Emma (Sinn) Freitag. She was one of nine children (seven sisters and one brother). She received her education in a country school, District 56, Jay Township, Martin County. She was employed as a housekeeper for many elderly couples and also worked at Stokley's Canning Factory in Fairmont. Beulah was united in marriage to Elmer Weber on March 4, 1965. They lived in Alpha, Minn., where they owned a locker plant until 1976 when they moved to Murieta, Minn., where Elmer was self employed. Elmer passed away on Jan. 11, 1977. Beulah then moved back to Sherburn and helped take care of her elderly mother. In 1985, she moved into an apartment in the ROK building in Sherburn. In November 1998, she moved to her sister, Grace's, home in Fairmont. In April of 1999, she became a resident of Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Beulah attended the Sherburn Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and being with friends and relatives.
She is survived by her sisters, Grace Carlson of Fairmont, Mavis Becker of rural Sherburn, Dona Opsal and her husband, LeRoy, of Armstrong, Iowa, Lois Peterson and husband, Jay, of Indianapolis and Norma Benson of La Crescent, Minn.; sister-in-law, Florence Weber; and many nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Elmer Weber; parents; brother, Marshall "Bud" Freitag; sisters, Verlie Williamson and Helen Lambert; sister-in-law, Helen Freitag; and brothers-in-law, Isaiah Williamson, Lynn Lambert, Bob Schafer, Leonard Carlson and Donald Becker.
