LeROY - Services for Carolyn W. Haayer, 71, of LeRoy, Minn., will be 11 a.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Chester, Iowa. Burial will be in Chester Hill Cemetery.
Haayer died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at her home following a battle with cancer. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Chester United Methodist Church.
Carolyn W. Blome was born July 15, 1941, in Oelwein, Iowa, daughter to Harry and Vera (Sachs) Blome.
Survivors include: Carl Haayer of LeRoy; daughters, Carmen Larsen of Elma, Iowa, and Cheryl Waker of Goose Creek, S.C.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and four siblings, Maurice Blome of Ferryville, Wis., Darlene German of Peoria, Ill., Jane Fritz of Fairmont and Conley Blome of Lakota, Iowa.
