EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - Memorial services for Karen M. Kadgihn, 97, of Eau Claire will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Eau Claire. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Ringsted, Iowa, at a later date.
Kadgihn died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Grace Willowbrok Assisted Living, Eau Claire. Visitation will be one-half hour prior to services at the church. Evergreen Funeral Home and Crematory, Eau Claire, is in charge of arrangements.
Karen Margrethe Thomsen was born Dec. 27, 1914, near Ringsted, Iowa, daughter of Martin and Marie (Pedersen) Thomsen.
Survivors include: daughters, BebeAnna B. Buck of Eau Claire and Marie "Mimi" O. Payne of New London, Minn.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Aksel Thomsen of Ringsted, Iowa.
