CHEROKEE, Iowa - Esther Irene Madsen, age 96, of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012, at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center in Cherokee. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012, at the Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee. Pastor Magrey deVega will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee.
