New Ulm added three more runs in the third inning when Jason Shaul pounded a three-run home run high over the right field fence. Kehren reached with a single and advanced to second when Hoffmann walked before scoring in the next at-bat with Jason Shaul's home-run.

Larson collected another RBI for New Ulm in the fourth, making it 6-0, with a single to right field scoring Erich Prokosch from second. Prokosch took a walk to reach first and advanced on a fielder's choice by Guiggisberg.

The final four New Ulm runs were scored in the bottom of the sixth, giving them the 10-0 lead.

Larson and Kehren drew walks to put runners on first and second. Shaul drew another walk to load the bases and Bergmann delivered a two-out double to score Larson and Kehren.

Dan Blackstad hit a single for New Ulm to score Shaul from third to gain the ten-run lead.

Guiggisberg pitched the complete seven-inning game, striking out three to earn the win.

Luke and Levi Becker collected the two Fairmont hits in the game.

New Ulm's Shaul went 2-for-2, including a home run, with two runs scored and collected three RBIs to pace Post 132's offense. Larson went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI, while Kehren and Hoffmann each went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI.
