MANKATO - Joshua Robert Niss, 27, of Mankato died Friday, July 13, 2012, at Hill Crest Health Care Center in Mankato.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Northview North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Josh was born Oct. 31, 1984, to Kathryn (Niss) Beese in Fairmont, Minn. He attended Mankato West High School until 2001. Josh earned his GED in 2009 and attended classes at MSU-Mankato and St. Cloud.
He is survived by his siblings, Amanda Janssen (Joe Meyer), Josie Niss (Andy Weingartz) and Darrin, Jessica, Elizabeth, Michael, Conner, Ashley and Eric; foster mother Sara Perrino; brothers, Eric Perrino, Kyle Perrino (Jacki Lahr); niece, Hannah Meyer; nephews, Aiden Meyer and Robby Perrino; and his grandparents, Ronald and Joann Niss.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Beese.
