To the Editor:
Do you think there is any way the in-bound and out-bound traffic of trucks going to the corn- and bean-processing businesses in Fairmont can stay on a designated truck route?
Ever since they closed County Road 39 to traffic, the truck traffic has really increased through the town. As County Road 39 shows, truck traffic tears up a road that is not constructed for such weight. I feel our streets are in bad enough shape and not properly repaired with our tax dollars. Why should we have all the roads in that shape with no tax dollars to repair them in town?
