To the Editor:
I'd like to thank Sue Anderson and Marty Krause for their letters in response to the photographer bids at the school. I was shocked to see Mr. Brown, superintendent of our high school, suggest we shop the Twin Cities for a photographer.
Our Chamber of Commerce has spent so much time, energy and money promoting shopping in Fairmont. It would not matter if this was something Fairmont does not have, but Fairmont is fortunate to have many good photographers.
I feel this is an insult to Roger Carlson for his fine work in his store, our fire department and to the wonderful citizens of Fairmont. I truly think he deserves an apology.
