BLUE EARTH - Donald H Hoppe, age 82, of Blue Earth, died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, with Rev. Robert Roettger officiating.
Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation time will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th St. in Blue Earth.

He was born June 29, 1929, in Burt, Iowa, the son of Henry Hoppe and Fredricka (Oltman). On March 14, 1948, he married Elaine Stewart in Blue Earth. He was confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Truman in 1944.
Donald loved the Lord, his family, Earth and farming.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Hoppe of Blue Earth; his son, Richard & Cheri Hoppe of Cerritos, Calif.; his son, James & Shirley Hoppe of Watertown, S.D.; his daughter , Valerie & Tom Perrizo of Mapleton; his son, Douglas & Sandy Hoppe of Eagan; his sister, Evelyn Godfredson of Britt, Iowa; his brother-in-law, Robert & Lorraine Stewart of Lakota, Iowa; his brother-in-law, John and Marilyn Stewart of Elmore; his brother-in-law, Kenneth & Joann Stewart of Blue Earth; his sister-in-law, Eleanor Stewart of Winnebago; his sister-in-law, Wilma (Tretz) Hoppe of Mankato; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law; two brothers; and twobrothers-in-law.
