FAIRMONT - Emily Valerio and Marcus Taplin announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Jack Taplin of Granada, Bonnie Taplin of Fairmont, Tony Valerio of Denver, Colo., and Debbie Valerio of Boulder, Colo.
Emily graduated from Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School in 2008 and attends Bethany Lutheran College. She will work as an on-air reporter at WQQW News 18, Eau Clair, Wis.
