AMBOY - Memorial services for Lee E. Cox, 88, of Amboy will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Amboy United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Sterling Cemetery, Amboy.

Cox died Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at Parker-Oaks, Winnebago. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home, Winnebago, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Lee E. Cox was born April 21, 1921, in Mapleton, son of Walter and Lydia (Annis) Cox. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in both Europe and Japan.

Survivors include: daughters, Linda Karow of Mankato and Nancy Thomas of Waseca; three granddaughters; sister, Betty Cox of Rochester.
