Mary Jo Snyder
FAIRMONT - A memorial service for Mary Jo Snyder, 62, of Fairmont, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of the service at Lakeview Funeral Home.
Mary passed away on Monday evening, Dec. 28, 2009, at Fairmont Medical Center.
Mary Jo (Clancy) Snyder was born on Aug. 23, 1947, in Sherburn, Minn., the daughter of Eugene and Martha (Faber) Clancy. She received her education in Sherburn and was a life-long resident of the Sherburn and Fairmont areas.
Mary was a volunteer driver for many people in the area. She enjoyed taking people to the cities, Rochester, or anywhere else they needed to go. During her free time, Mary loved to play BINGO, gamble and socialize with all of her many friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pat Utz (Michelle Lenertz) of Janesville, Minn., Troy Utz (Nora) of Gaylord, Minn., and Brandy Snyder of Sherburn; grandchildren, Lance Utz, Alec Snyder, Allegra Sokolofsky, and Stephanie Utz; brothers, Roger Clancy of New Ulm, Minn., and David Clancy of New Ulm, Minn.; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Martha Clancy.
