Velma P. Hagen

FAIRMONT - A private family service for Velma P. Hagen, 82, of Fairmont, will be held at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont with burial in Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont. Velma passed away on Saturday morning, December 26, 2009, at the Fairmont Medical Center.

Velma Pearl Hagen was born on May 9, 1927, to Rachel and Lewis Johnson. She was married to Chris Hagen Jr. and they enjoyed many years together camping, fishing, and spending time with their daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are four daughters, Joyce Lundstrom of Lake Havasu, Ariz., Suzanne (Richard) Orcutt of North Mankato, Minn., Maureen Rosenau of Show Low, Ariz., and Kathleen (Elwood) Wilcox of Fairmont, Minn.; 10 grandchildren, Christine (Chuck) Rickart of Dayton, Minn., Phillip (Nicole) Lundstrom of Palmer, Ala., Myra Jewell of Benton Harbor, Mich., David (Sue) Rosenau of Leesburg, Fla., Chris (Stephanie) Orcutt of Chanhassen, Minn., Lori (Scott) Rosenberg of Worthington, Minn., Jeffrey Orcutt of Eden Prairie, Minn., Peter (Jodi) Rosenau of Greenville, Penn., Andy (Teresa) Wilcox of Canton, S.D., Jackie (Keith) Hieronimus of Worthington, Minn.; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Hoppe of Fairmont, Minn.; four brothers, Edwin Johnson of Cherokee, Iowa, Dick Johnson of Sutherland, Iowa, Marlyn Johnson of Gladstone, Mo., Earl Johnson of Brainerd, Minn.; sister-in-law, Ethel Smith of Fairmont, Minn.; many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were husband, Chris Hagen Jr.; two sons-in-law, Bernard Lundstrom and David Rosenau; five brothers and three sisters.
