Redella Eversman

FAIRMONT - Funeral services for Redella "Del" Eversman, 85, of Fairmont, Minn., will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Burial of ashes will follow at Fairview Memorial Park in Fairmont.

Redella passed away on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at the St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Redella Mae (Anders) Eversman, daughter of George and Lillian (Plumhoff) Anders, was born on Jan. 24, 1924, in Martin County and was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was confirmed at the Lutheran Church in Waseca, where she moved with her family. Her family moved to Winnebago, Minn., and she graduated from Winnebago High School.

Del married Arnold Eversman on April 19, 1948. They moved to the family farm in which Arnold later bought. Arnold passed away in May 1993 and Del continued to live on the farm. Del was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and recently involved with the Charity Club and helped make quilts and rugs. Years ago, Del worked at Woolworth's for a while and the Fairmont Telephone Company for eight years.

Those who will cherish her memory include one daughter, Jackie Clark and her husband, Jerry, of Ledyard, Iowa; three sons, Bruce Eversman and his wife, Michelle, of Fairmont, Jon Scott Eversman and his wife, De Ann, of Fairmont, Jeffery Eversman and his wife, Debra, of Fairmont; daughter-in-law, Jo Eversman of St. Peter; grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Arnold, Del was preceded in death by one son, Bryan Eversman; infant twins; sister, Fran Kirk and an infant great granddaughter, Lillian Ann Clark.
