Donna M. Gustafson
FAIRMONT - A Memorial Service for Donna "Dottie" M. Gustafson, 78, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at St. John's United Church Of Christ in Fairmont. Donna passed away on Tuesday morning, Nov. 17, 2009, at Fairmont Medical Center. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to Fairmont Area Hospice and St. John's United Church Of Christ in Fairmont.
Donna "Dottie" Mae (Schultz) Gustafson was born Feb. 3, 1931, in New Ulm, Minn. She was the daughter of Ralph Harlow and Rose Schultz. Donna attended school in Comfrey, Minn.
On July 22, 1951, Donna was united in marriage to Arlo Gustafson in Fairmont, Minn. This union was blessed with four children. The couple resided in Fairmont, where Donna enjoyed caring for her family. She and Arlo shared 58 years of marriage together. Donna liked to spend her free time doing crafts, word puzzles and attending family events.
Along with her husband, Arlo Gustafson of Fairmont, Donna is survived by her children, Jarri Douglas (Bill) of Armstrong, Iowa, Randy Gustafson (Denise) of Fairmont, Tory Gustafson of Fairmont, Tracy Gustafson (Karen) of Blue Earth; grandchildren, Alissa, Jason, Shane, Damon, Sommer, Colby and Nicole; great grandchildren, Austin, Adrianna, Lilianna, Emanuel, Miya, Sydney, Raegan, Mia, Callie, Chandra, Lupe, Sammy, Alexia, Savanah, Madyson, Cam'ron, and Brooklyn.; many other relatives and friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Rose Schultz and Ralph Harlow; brothers, Harold, Peter and Rollie Schultz; and sister, Ann Jensen.
