Janice E. Moller
Janice E. Moller, 87, of Spicer, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at Rice Care Center in Willmar. A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer, Minn. Burial will be at the Spicer City Cemetery.
Visi-tation will be Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, from 4-6 pm at Johnson Funeral Home in New London, and continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Janice E. Moller was born Nov. 27, 1921, in the Dovre Township, the daughter of Bruce and Zada (Whitlock) Hauser. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school close to the farm. She later went on to normal school. She worked for the Bethesda Country Home. On Nov. 18, 1951, Janice was united in marriage to Enock Moller. This union was blessed with five sons. The family made their home on a farm near Spicer. Enock and Janice farmed for 41 years before their retirement in 1982. Enock passed away on Oct. 29, 2003, they shared 51 years of marriage.
Janice attended Zion Lutheran Church in Spicer, where she was active as a Sunday School teacher and in the Women's Circle. She was a current member of Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer, and participated in the Women's Circle. Janice will be remembered as a wonderful homemaker and hostess.
Janice E. Moller died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at Rice Care Center in Willmar, she was 87.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce (Pat) of Little Falls, John (special friend, Linda Nelson) of Milaca, Kevin (Kelly) of Fairmont, Andrew of Eden Prairie, and Robert (Loree) of Spicer; six grandchildren, Jenna, Daniel, Christa, Spencer, Aaron, and Hannah; and a great granddaughter, Arianna.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Enock; and infant brother, Gilbert.
