Larry G. Anderson

ARMSTRONG - Services for Larry G. Anderson, 69, of Armstrong will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Armstrong. Burial will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery, Armstrong, with military graveside rites performed by Weiby-Johnson VFW Post, Armstrong.

Anderson died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at his daughter's home in Swea City, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel, Armstrong.

Larry G. Anderson was born Feb. 3, 1940, in Estherville, Iowa, son of Ervin and Charlotte (Hotchkiss) Anderson. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was stationed in Massachusetts, New Mexico and Alaska.

Survivors include: wife, Lois of Armstrong; sons, Donny Anderson of Armstrong, Arnold Anderson of New Richmond, Wis., Michael Anderson of Blue Earth, Stephen Anderson of New Richmond and Mark Anderson of Fenton, Iowa; daughters, Christine Hersleff of Swea City and Pamela Anderson of Armstrong; 21 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Charlene Tigges of Armstrong, June Prentice of Swea City and Doris Subbert of Fairmont; brother, Richard Anderson of Armstrong and Donny Anderson of Kissimmee, Fla.
