Fresh paint for commons
To the Editor:
Presentation College and Minnesota West Community and Technical College, both of Fairmont, would like to extend a thank you to many businesses within this community that helped us unite to paint the student commons at the Southern Minnesota Education Campus.
Our two colleges recently received the Picture-it-Painted grant from Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation. Valspar Corporation donated the paint for this project while many local businesses donated the painting supplies. We would like to thank the following: Culligan Water Conditioning, Doolittle's Carpet and Paints, Inc., Fairmont Building Center, 5th and Plaza Fairmont Decorating, Fleet and Farm Supply, Home Depot - Mankato, Moore's Auto Repair, PC Janitorial Supply, Wal-Mart and the Sentinel.
We also want to thank the many faculty, staff and students from both colleges who helped complete this project.
