FAIRMONT - Mass of Christian Burial for John P. Mosloski, 56, of Fairmont will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 13 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Fairmont.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Lakeview Funeral Home of Fairmont is handling arrangements for the family.
John Paul Mosloski was born on July 12, 1952, in Fairmont Township, Martin County, the son of Anton and Donna (Knoll) Mosloski. He grew up in Pleasant Prairie Township and attended the Martin County Day Activities. John enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics, bowling and was quite a dancer. He was employed at Tri-County Industrial, now (MRCI) and the STEP program in Fairmont and Blue Earth. In 2006, John started attending Caring Partners at the Lakeview Methodist Healthcare Campus and moved to a group home in Granada. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont.
He is survived by five brothers, Anton Mosloski (Marie) of Mankato, Mike Mosloski (Nan) of Mankato, James Mosloski (Carol) of Fairmont, Duane Mosloski (Denise) of Fairmont, Eugene Mosloski (Polly) of Fairmont; one sister, Evelyn Tonneson (Steve) of Granada; nieces and nephews, cousins and several aunts.
John was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Steve Mosloski.
The family requests memorials to be made in John's name to St. John Vianney Church, Fairmont Hospice, Blue Earth Hospice or the Lakeview Methodist Home.
