WELCOME — Easy Energy Systems, as part of Easy Automation, recently received $25,000 from Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.
The funds are from the foundation’s newly created Bio Seed fund, and are awarded to businesses developing new products and processes related to bio-agriculture.
Easy Energy Systems is working on developing a successful cellulosic add-on module for the standard Modular Ethanol Production System.
Mark Gaalswyk, founder and president of Easy Energy Systems and Easy Automation, says this is an opportunity to extend the company’s automation technology. Easy Automation is involved in the livestock feed industry.
“I believe we’re in the right place at the right time with our proven automation and software technology,” Gaalswyk said. “The money from the foundation will enable us to move forward on developing this new ethanol production technology.”
The Initiative Foundation is focusing on biobusiness because of the opportunities it holds for southern Minnesota. Biobusiness jobs usually pay higher wages and provide additional spinoff businesses.
