MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — While the rest of the Minnesota Timberwolves are relaxing away from the game, Kevin Love's schedule is full.
The activities are welcomed, of course, as part of NBA All-Star weekend in New Orleans. Love will take part in off-the-court events in the community, media sessions and practice for the big event.
The three-time All-Star was picked as a starter for the Western Conference team for the first time. The game is on Sunday.
Before that, on Saturday during the skills showcases, Love will participate in the 3-point shooting contest. He's the only power forward and the tallest of the eight players in the competition.
