ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — A 17-year-old has been found guilty in an attack that nearly killed a St. Paul man.

Ray Wistrand was kicked, dragged, punched and knocked unconscious during a street brawl in his neighborhood last summer. He suffered a brain injury and is missing part of his skull.

Cindarion Butler was found guilty of aiding and abetting first-degree assault and aiding and abetting aggravated robbery in a Ramsey County courtroom Tuesday. He was acquitted of committing the crime to benefit a gang.

KSTP-TV (http://bit.ly/1j77HQ4 ) says one juvenile has pleaded guilty in the beating. Two others have ongoing cases and a 19-year-old man was found not guilty last November.
