We’re awash in debt because of these acts

February 21, 2014

How would you react if your bank gave you an open-ended credit limit — and assured you that within a year or so, no matter how much you had borrowed in the interim, it would be increased? Banks don’......

Roadbaron, I agree! My understanding is that the deduction of taxes was first thought of to get the "masses" to go along w/ income taxes. "we'll make it easy for you, just let us deduct it first"! In the mid 80's I raised my deductions to 9, which allowed me to not have anything deducted. I was putting $150/ month in a savings account which after the 1st of the year I paid my taxes with. When my employer (US Army caught on I was told that I was "defrauding" the government and had to stop.

I still do not see what difference it makes, I still paid my taxes, and the government is defrauding me by not letting me use ALL of my money.

It doesn't seem to matter what the name, profession or party affiliation any of them belong to. If the these idiots can't spend it fast enough out in DC we're blessed with the likes of our current state gov't as well. Let 3 people whine about ANYTHING and they WILL throw money at it. It doesn't seem to matter what it is. We need to eliminate automatic payroll deductions and make people write a check every 90 days to the IRS just like all the evil business owners are forced to do. In 6 months the screaming for fiscal responsibility and tax breaks/accountability would turn these lying crooks on their heads. Politicians would be terrified to do half the stupid things they do if money wasn't "FREE" anymore

We must all thank Amy K (a lawyer), Al F (a comedian), and Tim W (a school teacher) for this "open-ended credit limit". They must be the smartest three people in Washington, DC.
