Pipelines are far safer and cheaper way to move oil than by rail car. Yes the US now exports oil and distillates and much of this pipeline would add to that.....which adds US jobs and increases the tax base.

A)The oil from the Keystone pipeline is traded on the global market. Keeping it domestically won't change the price. B) Our largest export is FUEL(gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel!!!)

Explain to me how building a pipeline for a foreign company (TransCanada) through our country to send this tar sand oil to refineries in the state of LA to make gas and export it to China will be a benefit to us? Oil is traded on the world market. How will this help our gas prices? Why can't TransCanada build a refinery in Canada?
