Conveniently, my comment was erased. Thank you Sentinel for further proving my point. Also, DickieVees-My bachelors degree was in Criminal Justice so my ride alongs and internship required me to be very well versed in the criminal processes. Your lame attempt to discredit someone you don't even know is noted. I am very familiar with the case I spoke of and I am happy to tell you that it did not turn out the way Fairmont "officials" wanted it to.

Why do I get the feeling that mntransplant has seen the view from the back of a police car a lot in their time?

I thought cops were cops 24 hours a day? Then again, I thought the Sentinel was a newspaper, and not a mouthpiece for city hall. I had to read yesterday's Mankato Free Press to learn the details the Sentinel was either too lazy or too afraid to print: "Purvis is accused of violating department policy regarding "sexual harassment via verbal or other physical conduct or communication of sexual nature with a minor on more than one occasions over the last year."

Second, Purvis is accused of violating policy by "engaging in conduct constituting lewd behavior or indecent exposure on more than one occasion over the last year" while off duty.

Finally, Purvis is accused of misusing his personal cell for personal use during work hours."
