Hospice has always been a patient/family oriented organization. Sometimes Hospice gets a "bad rap" when called in to help in the late stages, and full understanding has not been completed.. In 70 + years of Nursing, I have never seen or heard of a bad Hospice worker or volunteer. I wish more people would access the benefits/care/understanding and love they bring to all involved.
