I generally agree but note that, in this instance, the girl herself has expressed her wish that chemo not be forced on her. I am not saying that this should determine the court's decision but, though at ten years old she cannot be presumed to have the judgment of an adult, that's a sufficient age that her wishes should be received in evidence; as should evidence of the efficacy or lack thereof of the alternative treatment and the probability that chemo will be successful.
