County eyes new tax

i think a higher tax should go to farmers and other businesses that use heavy equipment and semi's in our county.

Maybe they should borrow some from the city. The City of Fairmont is now charging an additional $1.25/month for "city wide cleanup." Now, it's been a couple of weeks since I went to the City's website, but there was nothing on there about "city wide cleanup." I don't know how many paying households there are, but for argument's sake, let's just say if 8,000 houses in Fairmont pay the additional $1.25 per month THAT IS AN ADDITIONAL $10,000 PER MONTH WE ARE PAYING THE CITY. WHERE IS THAT MONEY GOING?

Liberal Dayton administration just rammedthrough a 2 billion dollar tax increase on the citizens. Now there needs to be an additional wheelage tax too? Wow! Thanks again you democrats spendaholics.
