It is amazing how many children here in our county live with such horible disabilities. Years ago you never heard about it. It is wonderful the paper does stories on them. I had a son with infantile spasms. It would of been nice to known others who went thru what we went thru.

Silas is an awesome kid. I have been fortunate enough to meet him a few times with Karen. Having 3 children myself I couldn't fathom the grind it is to care for a child with special needs. But if you spend time with Silas hes so cool and is so well behaved and I really cant say enough positive thing's about him. He has rock stars for parents and he always seems to beat certain odds random doctors say. I think the foundation thing is a good idea and though they would never personally ask It I think any assistance that can be given should be given.
