nursing homes are going back to be waiting rooms for getting into heaven..............crowded at that......they should be an extension of a new part of life with exciting activities, trips, good HEALTHY food, fantastic medical care, and warm new friendships. not, " get up at 5 am, get in a wheelchair, and face the wall for 3 hours until breakfast".........stay in the dining room until lunch, if you are lucky you get a nap, then back in a row in the hallway for dinner, then stay in the dinning roon until someone put you to bed...maybe 7- or 10pm.......and what about "personal needs".oh they can wait.....they wear diapers anyway......mayberry has gone.........and thats what these peope loved..family..

What did our republican reps do for seniors when they were in power? Zero. Now they blame the Dems. Lets get over running for a position and start running the government for the betterment of the majority. Cooperation might just accomplish something good for the people you are representing not just your vocal party members that get you re-elected year after year.

I applaud Senator Rosen, Recent experience in our family highlights the problem. You live in Fairmont your entire life and when you need a nursing home bed, you have to leave Fairmont. What kind of a system is this? On top of that, my mother worked very hard at Lutz Wing and cared for many and now the system turns its back on her. Something needs to be done to make sure there is a bed for all of Fairmont's seniors. Thank you Senator Rosen.
