We should just build a dome and put in fake grass. After the well runs dry that should really be the next move.

Mrknowitall, I couldn't have said it better. Typical brainless decision by someone who can spend another person's money.

Wow. Recently there was no money to run extra curricular activities and we were held hostage to pass a referendum. Lots of money waste now!! What bunch of baloney. Let's see how much this will really costs.

Can we get back to education? I am tired of arm chair quarterbacks and sports jocks running education in Minnesota.I am so ready to help elect new school board members next election to replace any of the current board members that vote for this "Roman aqua duct" resolution****e on ISD 2752 stand up for real education not NFL wannabe resolutions. There are students graduating around the world tht want our graduates first job and its not playing American football.

So $40,000 is just the well? Or does this include all associated lines, etc? Oh well, no one in the school system cares about saving money, be cause it is not theirs... Politicians and bureaucrats enjoy spending "other people's money".

What a waste of money. Schools are short of money and now we need to spend money to keep the grass green.

I have to amend my earlier post about the safety issue. in talking with someone she stated that the ground when it is very dry becomes like cement and is a safety issue. So forgive my misunderstanding.

oh my. since when is falling on brown grass a huge safety issue? Isn't having a football team tackling you a bigger danger? How did I ever survive to middle age without cushioned ground to protect me.
