Is this heaven? No, it's Winnebago

If you haven’t gotten your tickets for the Winnebago Craft Brew Fest starting at 3 p.m. Saturday, you better hurry. Austin Bleess, city administrator, says they’ve sold about 50 since Monday and have sold more than 550 overall. Once all 800 are sold — that’s it, there ain’t no more.

That $20 ticket gives you a chance to sample around 70 different beers from 29 breweries, at last count, and Austin said that could change by Saturday. You can use that beer to wash down brats, burgers, pizza, Greek food, kettle korn, pickles, peanuts, pulled pork sandwiches, beef brisket, tacos and lemonade.

T-shirts and collector mugs from this first-ever event will be available, too.

“It’s gonna be a great time,” Austin said today. “Best party in Southern Minnesota, perhaps the state. Drink some good beer, listen to some good music and take in a little slice of heaven here in Winnebago.”
