That's one way to get exercise

January 23, 2012 - Jodelle Greiner
Well, my cardiologist just told me I needed 30 minutes of cardio exercise a day. I guess snow shoveling qualifies.

I don’t mind shoveling the sidewalk — although I do want to say thanks to whoever blew out the sidewalk on our side of the street after the snowfall a few days ago. (The less I have to do, the better.) The thing I like about shoveling the sidewalk is you can just throw shovelfuls of snow on either side as you go. The problem is the driveway.

There’s a lot more driveway to shovel and you have to take each scoop somewhere else to dump it, which takes extra time and energy.

The snow that’s fallen from the sky isn’t so bad, but I don’t like having to shovel what the plows leave behind, packed down. There’s got to be a better way and as soon as I figure it out, the patent is mine!

I guess that’s why they say necessity is the mother of invention.
