There's only so much time in a day, and these days, in my spare time, I've been turning into a different type of couch potato — the TV junkie kind. After falling behind two seasons with Lost, I am racing to catch up before the series ends, and I'm proud to announce I'm closing in. Only three episodes to go and I'll be up-to-date and ready to theorize with my co-workers about the island mysteries as the writers wrap up what's been an amazing journey thus far. Alas, Lost is not my only downfall lately. After years of cringing at my sister's obsession with Doctor Who, I've caught the bug. The BBC sci-fi series is weird and absurd and "wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey" ... and I absolutely adore it. I decided to give the Time Lord doctor a try after falling in love with its spin-off, a sci-fi/crime show called Torchwood, which follows the adventures of a covert agency investigating extraterrestrial life. (Fan-friggin'-tastic, I must say. Both shows are high on humor, but Torchwood is pretty racy stuff and rather offensive to the general American audience, if I had to venture a guess.)
