| | OverbookedSeptember 25, 2009 - Kylie SaariSchool has started and fall is here. And it isn't the cooler weather or sudden appearance of busses that is telling me this. It is the number of cancelations I am getting on interviews and how difficult it has become for people to nail down a time they can meet. It is 10 minutes before 10 a.m., and already both of my stories have canceled on me. Well, technically, they rescheduled, but it is ultimately the same. I have spent the morning scheduling for next week's stories, and I hope they come through. A lot is going on in this town, and I want to share with you what I know. I certainly can't place the blame solely on the the shoulders of my interviewees, as I also have gotten caught up in the craziness of the season. Between chasing people down for stories, chauffeuring Mom's Taxi, and succumbing to the Minnesotan's frenzied need to get outside as much as possible before being snowbound for the winter, it is getting tough to talk to people. Never fear, faithful readers, I will continue to work diligently to get the scoop for you. But, in return, if I call you, can you at least call me back?
