Tired of hearing myself complain about this, that and the other, I've decided to take on the 21-day challenge and "be the person I want the world to be," or however the saying goes. I started out Saturday night with a bracelet on my left wrist. Within 5 minutes, it had switched to the right.
The goal is to make it 21 days with the bracelet on the same wrist, but it takes time for your thought process to acclimate to the new philosophy. Slowly, over time, the goal is to evolve through four phases, starting with unconscious incompetance, moving forward to conscious incompetance, then conscious competance and finally arriving at unconscious competance. The concept is one I stole from the world wide web, and I'm afraid at this time I can't credit whoever originally thought of it.
We'll see how long this takes ... I'm just hoping if and when I reach the first of the 21 consecutive days, the bracelet is sitting comfortably on my left wrist, not the right. That doesn't count as complaining, does it?
